The design is a joke to me (remembering though that many like it). I don't mean to discount your opinion, but rather cleaned out that they're a lot of reasons to dislike it.lots of outdated packages by default (a dev will likely get brew, and brew is okay but can be finicky), awful security (Apple seems to have no urgency for patching even very severe vulnerabilities), and in my personal opinion, an awful UI/UX.

It all installed without a hitch and when I restarted the MacBook and wifi was showing, and I connected to it, very happy with install.
